Biography:
Hello all, my name Is Alex and I've worked
in the fitness industry nine years. I currently own and run a private fitness coaching
studio in Bristol.
We also offer physiotherapy, Pilates and sports massage as well.
I've always been fascinated with the human body. That is what lead me to pursue
a career in people's health and fitness. Initially I started as a normal
personal trainer but soon realised there was a whole host of things/problems
going on with my clients that I didn't have a clue about. This is what lead me
to open the centre as we have it now, catering for all fitness and injury
needs.
I'm not really a personal trainer now. I'm part trainer, part life coach, part
movement dysfunction specialist, part corrective exercise specialist, the list
could go on but I don't want to bore you. I understand the human body, in terms
of fitness and injury, at a far higher level than I ever have.
The best thing is the more I learn the more I realise I don't know and the more
I strive to understand. I am dedicated to increasing my knowledge and skills
base to enable me to give the most update and comprehensive advice.
Personally I train all types of people from elite sport to 75 year olds, all
the way back down to 10 year olds too.
I am also able to train people on line using a very convenient web based
solution that lets you be guided in your training, show you animations of the
exercise and up date your actual workout results. This means that I can
constantly manage and optimise your training schedule. On top of this
nutritional plans and sample diets can be accessed through your own personal
page.
How about coaching by phone, this is a popular service with my clients who
travel the world or for some of my elite athletes that spend a lot of time in
foreign countries (summer/winter) training.
